Training Manager
About the Role
The Training Manager is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of CBRN Academy’s training programmes — from initial planning and curriculum alignment through to delivery oversight and post-programme evaluation. This role sits at the operational core of the Academy, ensuring that every engagement meets the institutional, regulatory, and professional standards that our partners and clients depend on. You will work closely with instructors, subject-matter experts, and institutional stakeholders to maintain the consistency and credibility of our training outputs across diverse operating environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and logistical coordination of CBRN training programmes across domestic and international contexts.
- Oversee instructor alignment, ensuring delivery teams are briefed, prepared, and operating to standardised content and methodology.
- Maintain and develop curriculum standards in line with current CBRN doctrine, regulatory guidance, and operational feedback.
- Manage institutional compliance requirements, including documentation, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor training outcomes and implement continuous improvement mechanisms to ensure measurable capability development.
- Serve as the primary liaison between delivery teams and programme stakeholders, including government bodies, defence institutions, and healthcare organisations.
- Identify gaps in programme coverage and propose structured solutions to expand or strengthen the Academy’s training portfolio.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in training management, programme coordination, or instructional leadership within a technical or regulated field.
- Background in CBRN, emergency management, public safety, defence, or a closely related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with instructional design frameworks, curriculum development methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programmes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience with compliance documentation, audit preparation, and institutional reporting.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings operational discipline and a genuine commitment to the standards that define credible CBRN preparedness. You are methodical, clear in your communication, and capable of maintaining programme quality under pressure. You understand that in this field, consistency is not an administrative preference — it is a professional and ethical obligation.
